What we appreciated is the set up is straightforward and goes up in minutes (even in MN frigid weather!) The sauna can get up to as hot as you would like it to go. He showed me the setup process so I was confident in setting it up.  It was a great sauna experience - the tent got quite hot, which was great after a day of xc skiing. Quick to heat up, 14 minutes to get to 195 degrees from the first spark. The windows turn any setting into a panoramic spa. I pack it up and take it to our cabin and it packs up quickly. the stove, bench and materials all are solid construction and are holding up well with consistent use. The windows are amazing for looking out at the water or watching the sunsets, and it gets plenty hot to get me ready for my cold plunge into the lake. Smaller one easily fits 4-6 ppl if 2 are standing, and the larger one 6-8, no problem. Highly highly recommend! Everyone who has used it has been thoroughly impressed.

Growing up in the Great Lakes region, I was always intrigued by the cold, vast lake waters of Minnesota, Michigan, & Wisconsin. It sparked an early interest in outdoor adventure and a curiosity about the ancient practices of cold and hot immersion.

After experiencing the health benefits of a Finnish-style sauna I aimed to create a portable, accessible version to bring its benefits to people like me, who need a restorative escape but can’t always make it to a spa or gym.

Firefly was born out of my own search for balance and recovery, and it’s now here to help others find the same sense of relief and well-being.
