Our Journey
A Flight into the Light
Growing up in the Great Lakes region, Firefly founder Shaker Rabban was always intrigued by the cold, vast lake waters of Minnesota, Michigan, & Wisconsin. It sparked an early interest in outdoor adventure, and a curiosity into the ancient practices of cold and hot immersion.
When Shaker first tried an early prototype of a sauna tent, he knew he was experiencing something remarkably powerful: a reliable Finnish-style sauna experience that was not only portable, but affordable.
Since then, he and his team have been perfecting iterations of both tents and stoves, advancing the quality of materials and design so that anyone anywhere can enjoy the benefits, and share with others.
